BUFFALO, NY ( May 16, 2005) - Michele Huntington and George Mayfield of Tonawanda will be saying “I do” during the wedding of their dreams from the edge of the mighty Niagara on May 18. An estimated 50,000 viewers will tune in to WKBW-TV Channel 7 on Friday, May 20, to see the ceremony of the couple they voted for to win the dream wedding from Delaware North Companies’ Top of The Falls Restaurant and Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite.
Sponsored by Top of The Falls Restaurant, Huntington and Mayfield will exchange vows just steps away from the Horseshoe Falls at 6 p.m. in a ceremony performed by the Mayor of Niagara Falls, Vince Anello.
The ceremony and the reception will be captured by WKBW-TV Channel 7 to be aired May 20, on the station’s afternoon show PM Buffalo.
As part of a contest that launched the week of Valentine’s Day on WKBW-TV Channel 7’s AM Buffalo morning show, the engaged Mayfield couple proved they won the hearts of WNY by securing more than 16,000 votes over a two-week period.
Now the viewing area can attend the wedding of their favorite couple from the comfort of their own living rooms as witnesses to a life changing prize package worth over $25,000. The prize package includes:
