Encounter Niagara
Encounter the History of Niagara
This summer, the key figures of Niagara's History return to the State Parks to bring our Past to life! Meet Annie Edson Taylor - the first person to go over the Falls in a Barrel. Match wits with Inventor and Engineer Nikola Tesla.
Learn what drives a Daredevil to risk life and limb and tightrope over the Gorge as you meet legendary Funambulist "The Great Blondin". These and many other characters of History will be strolling the State Parks and greeting our guests. You'll find that these "Characters" are not only well-preserved for their age, but are delighted to engage guests with their story!
Photographs with our Characters are most welcome (and free!) and we hope you will enjoy your "encounter" with our History and Heritage.
