Fireworks light up the skies above Niagara Falls State Park

Cascades of Fire International Fireworks Competition Viewing Parties

All Shows Start at 9 p.m., Weather Permitting

Join us on the U.S. side of Niagara Falls to view the dazzling fireworks that will light up the skies over the Falls during the Cascades of Fire International Fireworks Competition! The pyrotechnic presentations will be held during six weekend nights in November when Niagara Falls, Canada hosts the event for the first time ever. All shows will start at 9 p.m., and Lot 3 on Goat Island in Niagara Falls State Park will be open for viewing parties.

Cascades of Fire will feature 18-minute pyrotechnic shows synchronized to music, presented by China, Finland, and Brazil. (Performances from Italy, Brazil and Canada were canceled due to weather conditions.) Teams will be judged by theme, choice of music, creativity, synchronization to the selected music, selection of effects, and crowd reaction. A jury will rate the performances to determine the winner.

The Park will open at 8 p.m., and packaged snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Free event parking will be available in Lot 2 on Goat Island after 5 p.m., and trollies will transport guests from Lot 2 to Lot 3 where spectators will be as close as possible to the displays, which will take place on the International Control Dam. A simulcast of the synchronized music will be available, as well as light refreshments for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, as seating will not be provided, and also to bring blankets and dress appropriately for the weather. For safety reasons, vehicular traffic will be prohibited in Lot 3.

Overflow parking will be available in the State Park's Prospect Street lot in addition to the City of Niagara Falls lot located at the corner of 1st Street and Buffalo Avenue. On-street parking is also available around the perimeter of the park. It's about a 1/2-mile walk from the City of Niagara Falls over the bridges to Goat Island.

Park Police advise motorists not to stop along the Niagara Scenic Parkway or Riverway during the displays, and instead encourage everyone to enjoy the event from Lot 3.
