There is so much history, lore and ecology here that we occasionally offer hikes or walks and talks that focus on some of the things that make the region even more special.   • Watercolor Holiday Cards

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park – Education Center
    When: Saturday, December 6, 2025; 10 AM – 11:30 AM

    Join us in the Education Center to create your own holiday themed card using watercolor paints! All materials provided.

  • Jingle Falls

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park
    When: Saturday and Sunday, December 6-7, 2025

    Celebrate the holiday season in Niagara Falls during Jingle Falls USA this winter! This event is jam-packed with fun that is sure to get you and your family in the holiday spirit!

    Saturday, December 6:

    • 12 PM – 2 PM: Crafts and Education Station in the Welcome Center in Niagara Falls State Park
    • 2 PM – 3:30 PM: Stroll at the Falls (walking program) starting and ending at the Welcome Center in Niagara Falls State Park.

    Sunday, December 7:

    • 11 AM – 1 PM: Crafts and Education Station in the Welcome Center in Niagara Falls State Park

  • FaLaLaLa Falls – Wreath Making

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park – Education Center
    When: Friday, December 12, 2025; 10 AM – 11:30 AM

    Create your very own wreath perfect for the winter season. Materials will be provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own decorations and craft supplies.

  • FaLaLaLa Falls

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park – Welcome Center
    When: Saturday, December 20, 2025; 12 PM – 2 PM

    Take a break from the cold and visit the Welcome Center for family fun holiday crafts!

  • Last Saturday of the Year Hike

    Where: Whirlpool State Park
    When: Saturday, December 27, 2025; 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

    Join a Park Naturalist for a casual guided walk to celebrate the last weekend of 2025 and welcome in the new year!
