Cascades of Fire International Fireworks Competition

Friday-Sunday, November 9-11 and Friday, November 16-18
All shows start at 9 p.m.

Fireworks will light up the skies over Niagara Falls this November when Niagara Falls, Canada hosts the Cascades of Fire International Fireworks Competition for the first time ever. The competition's shows will all start at 9 p.m. and will be visible from the American side of the Falls.

Cascades of Fire will feature 18-minute pyrotechnic shows synchronized to music, presented by China, Finland, Brazil, Vietnam, Italy, plus a special finale by the host country, Canada.

Spectators can listen to the accompanying music for each pyrotechnic show by tuning their radios to Star 102.5.

Teams will be judged by theme, choice of music, creativity, synchronization to the selected music, selection of effects, and crowd reaction. A jury will rate the performances to determine the winner.

Festival of Slice

Niagara Falls Culinary Institute (28 Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls)

Celebrate the best pizza in Niagara Falls this holiday season! The first-ever Jingle Falls Festival of Slice will take place on Friday, November 30 from 5-8 p.m. Jingle Falls USA will host the event at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute (28 Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls).

Cheese and specialty slices will be sold at the event, which will highlight pizza from restaurants in Niagara Falls. The Festival of Slice will celebrate the city's strong culinary traditions.

Jingle Falls USA, a three-weekend holiday celebration featuring family-friendly events in downtown Niagara Falls, kicks off on Friday, November 30. A Christmas tree lighting ceremony and candle light parade will also take place directly outside of the Culinary Institute that evening.

Want to see the full beauty of the foliage? Want more than an easy stroll? Take our most challenging trail as we travel along the Niagara River to Whirlpool Flats enjoying the challenge and stunning views of the gorge. Dogs are welcome, leashed and under your control at all times, but be advised it is a challenging trail. We do not recommend this for elderly dogs, and we suggest use of a harness.
