Special Events at Niagara Falls State Park

Niagara Falls State Park is more than just water! There is so much history, lore, ecology and more here that we occasionally offer hikes or walks and talks that focus on some of the items that make us even more special! Great events are taking place at the park, and also nearby.

Niagara Falls State Park - Goat Island (Meet at Parking Lot #3)

Bird life along the Niagara River Corridor is fascinating year-round! But during wintertime, birds flock to the river from all corners of the world. Join the Buffalo Audubon Society for a guided birding walk to Three Sisters Islands. It's one of the best hot-spots to see winter gulls and waterfowl in North America! Attendees will meet at Parking Lot #3.

This event is part of the inaugural Birds on the Niagara, a weekend celebration of all things avian from Buffalo to Lewiston. All events are free and family-friendly, and no birding experience is necessary. Bring your binoculars, and take in the sights of the birds along the way!
