Warm weather programming at Niagara Falls and Niagara Gorge is now available. All programming is subject to change. Unless noted otherwise, registration is suggested but not required, and participation is first-come-first-served.

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park – Welcome Center

    Relax and listen to some of the best local musicians in Western New York at the Music in the Mist series sponsored by the Niagara Falls Hard Rock Café on Thursdays from 1pm – 4pm throughout the summer. Chill on the Great Lawn in front of the Welcome Center and enjoy lawn games and activities for the kids while jamming to great tunes.

  • Family Fun in the Park

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park – Welcome Center Patio
    When: Tuesday, July 15, 2025; 11 AM – 2 PM

    Take a rest and make a cool souvenir of your visit on Tuesdays 11am – 2pm in July and August at our Family Fun Tent sponsored by the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center.

  • Horseshoe Hullabaloo

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park – Terrapin Point
    When: Wednesday, July 16, 2025; 5:30 PM – 7 PM

    Join us at the edge of the Falls for a weekly all-ages music jam at Terrapin Point — with rhythm, melody, and mist in the air. This is an open, percussion-forward music circle featuring hand drums, shakers, guitar, handpan, bubbles and singing. We’ll have basic percussion instruments available, but you’re encouraged to bring your own drum, djembe, guitar, or voice to join in the groove.

    Free, and family-friendly. All are welcome! Meet on the lawn in front of Top of the Falls Restaurant (Terrapin Point, Goat Island)

  • Hydropower and Early Industry

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park
    When: Friday, July 18, 2025; 3 PM – 4:30 PM

    Walks from the Welcome Center to the Schoellkopf Elevator and then to the ALCOA Ruins. We will stop at appropriate places to talk about key points. Meet in front of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Welcome Center at Parking Lot 1. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the program. Adults 18+ only. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes for walking.   • SNIFFari Through the Park

    Where: Niagara Falls State Park

    Join us for a walk focusing on enrichment for our furry friends with many stops along the trail to let the dogs get their fill of new scents found in the park as we discuss some of the natural phenomenon and history surrounding the area. Meet at Schoellkopf Elevator at Great Lakes 360 Parking Lot. All dogs in attendance must be up-to-date on immunizations, leashed, and under control. 6 foot non-retractable leashes.
